What is a Bankruptcy Restriction Order?

A Bankruptcy Restriction Order can be placed on you by the Official Receiver if they think you have been dishonest about your assets before or during your bankruptcy.  

Reasons for a Bankruptcy Restriction Order include, gambling, unreasonable spending, taking on debt knowing you will not be able to repay it, lack of cooperation with the Official Receiver or paying off some debts while ignoring others.

A Bankruptcy Restriction Order can last between 2 and 15 years.
